If an infant fixes his or her gaze on a particular object for a very long time, it could be an early sign of developing autism, say researchers.
In a study conducted involving two groups of infants, one normal and the other believed to be in the high risk of autism, the team found that when the babies of the high risk group were not engaged by their parent or caretaker, they spent far more time gazing at the toy than the caregiver. According to the study author, this showed a subtle early marker for autism.
Autism is a lifelong developmental disability which causes difficulties in social interactions, impaired communication skills and unusual thought and behavioral patterns.
A new study has found more link between light at night (LAN) and cancer. Previous studies have shown that living in areas that have more night time illumination increases risk of prostate cancer for men and breast cancer for women.
The study examined four groups of lab mice that were injected with cancerous cells. Each group was exposed to different duration of light. The group that was exposed to the least amount of light had the least cancerous growth (0.85 cu cm, average), the group that was exposed to more light had a little more cancerous growth (1.84 cu cm, average) and the group that was exposed to the most light had even more growth (5.92 cu cm, average).

A friend of mine got a cut on his forehead from a spinning low ceiling fan. The fan was in full speed and the cut was deep. One of my cousins suggested tea leaves as a remedy to stop the bleeding. So we took some tea leaves and made a paste of it by grinding and mixing a little water. It stopped the bleeding and then we took him to hospital. Lucky fella to have geniuses with him.
It is said that tea tree oil is effective against fungal, bacterial and viral organisms. It is also a powerful stimulant for the immune system.
So there you go. A powerful home remedy indeed for a cut.
You could be the next genius.
Read my book You could be the genius. He he he. It does’nt exist. I don’t write books.
If you’re suffering from bleeding gums, it is suggested to chew raw vegetables and fruits like carrot or peach. That exercises the teeth and expels food remnants stuck between them.
Mixing a pinch of common salt and baking soda and massaging the gums with it is also a good remedy. Massaging the gums helps rejuvenate them, allowing any dead cells to fall out.
Don’t forget to brush and floss regularly twice a day.
Our gums likes to get some massage. He he he
